Nose: Medicinal, seaweed, gristy, allspice, burnt sugar, oak Palate: Stewed fruit, ash/char, green pepper, damp wood, dried apples and bananas Finish: Long finish, spicy, apples, oak, vanilla, leather, ginger on the aftertaste Smooth but watered down. Not as smoky as the name suggests. There is a bit of smoke, but the dominant flavour is a medium sweet light dried fruit.

This tried for interesting, and got there, but the flavours don’t meld particularly well into the finished experience. It invokes a strong industrial taste palate to me, which is not particularly a bad thing, but also not a personal favourite.
Evokes: getting off the tube after a long day of work and pouring yourself a dram. Lingering flavours of the underground layered underneath mesquite BBQ and sweet raspberry vanilla. Filthy smoke lives up to its name.
Peat is actually kind of subtle with this one, my main flavors are vanilla with some sort of dry estringent tail. Smoke is there but takes a backseat. Balanced okay, but not very exciting.
