Candied orange, hay, banana chip, butterscotch, vanilla, and walnut on the nose. Rich, round mouthfeel. On the palate, more vanilla, butterscotch, and walnut, along with pepper, grass, and cinnamon. Finishes long and smooth. 3.50/5.00 – Impressive (neat)

About this bottle
Formerly known as Forty Creek Copper Pot, this whisky was renamed in 2022 to Copper Bold. It is made similarly to the brand's Barrel Select offering — three separate grains (rye, barely, and maize) distilled and aged individually in white oak barrels. The distillates are then married to mingle flavors before bottling. The difference here is with extra aging, barrel selection, and slightly higher proof at 43% ABV.

Good enough. Nothing great. I visited Canada and picked up this bottle. Im not a huge fan of Canadian whisky.
