Aroma - Smells like breakfast.. Blueberry pancakes with maple syrup and tons of buttery notes. There’s a spice aspect here from the rye profile but it’s more herbal than baking spices. The oak presence is strong and makes its presence known up front.. very nice.. as it opens, slightly charred (browned) marshmallow notes and honey push through.. it’s delectable Taste - Damn… everything from the nose comes through on the palate but I’m getting a slightly hint of orange creamsicle in addition. Overall- Amazing. The ABV feels closer to 115-120 proof. The viscosity is great the finish is medium to long. Complexity in both nose and palate is incredible. It’s damn good

“Another forgettable canadian whiskey” This was intended to be the star of a bottle split night, and all 5 of us were looking forward to an attainable “Stagg killer”. Each of us agreed that this was a huge let down—no nose to speak of, fairly middling palate, and an okay but brief finish. Absolutely no indication that this was an 18 year old product. Elijah Craig barrel proof beat this in every category. Hopefully the last few oz open up with some time in the bottle.

Absolutely delicious- corn and rye aged and proofed for full flavor - caramel, spiced, baked fruits and mellow sweetness permeate from nose to finish.
