Nose- Fresh raspberries; apples sprinkled with cinnamon; wood spice; floral sweetness; aged leather; rich vanilla; churros; caramel Palate- wave of honey sweetness; followed by floral spice; raspberries; vanilla; barrel char; sweet cream; burnt sugar Finish- Long, rich finish with a hint of spice; Vanilla bean; barrel char; nutmeg and cinnamon; dense caramel Four roses does it again. The nose is out of this world, the palate is fantastic, complex, and extremely balanced, and the finish is long, rich and flavorful. The nose reminds me of disneyland, with rich vanilla, sweet berries, and an unmistakable note of churros. One of the best bourbons out there, and even at secondary prices i’m eager to get my hands on one.

I’ve been nursing this bottle for several years. Like several others, I just can’t bring myself to finish it knowing I’ll never have it again. So I periodically have a small pour to remind myself how good it is. This is not a big, bold bourbon like many of the legendary pours (I’m looking at you Stagg, WLR, Willett Family Estate), but it is a great bourbon in its own right. On this pour, nothing is really standing out on the palate, it’s just sweet, balanced, and extremely pleasant. The finish of slight tobacco and cinnamon is excellent, but shorter than I’d like. This deserves its excellent reputation and will be sorely missed when it’s gone.

I'm dead serious when I say this is quite possibly the best bourbon I've ever tasted. Huge cherry and cherry liqueur flavours. Vanilla, big caramel, sawdust. Cinnamon, nutmeg, raspberry, peaches, plum, cocoa. Cola. Orange jelly. Apple pie. Mint, some dusty rye. Delicious. Rich, big body, beautiful texture. Barrel proof flavour without a conventional barrel-proof alcohol kick. It's obviously long-gone from the shelves, but I've got two bottles tucked away for major life events.

I'm not going to be very original here, but this whiskey was delivering in my opinion all that I can ask to a drink. Complex, multi-layered and a taste never ending. Loved it and I just wish I had one more bottle right now!

Easily one of the top bourbons I've ever tried. The complexity and smoothness of the barrel was so good. The blend is one of a kind.

"Now that's a bourbon!" said a friend. Big, bold, and a long finish to keep you warm in the winter. This stuff is the real deal.
