This bottling is part of MGP's Single Barrel Program offered to retailers. They have an option of selecting from one of two high rye mash bills. The bourbon is aged for over four years and is bottled at cask strength which will vary from cask to cask. Once the retailer selects their barrel, the bottles will be shipped by September 2021 to coincide with National Bourbon Month. Additionally, the retailer has the option to add a 2021 Single Barrel Selection label to highlight the collectible nature of the whiskey. This single barrel program will be offered annually.

Store pick: One of the best pours I’ve had at this price point. Beautiful brown sugar nose, smooth, oily palette, with a little citrus or light anise. A little spicier than I’d like in the finish with a burn that I would expect out of 110 proof.
