Launched May 2022, Gin Mare Capri is a special edition release which is intended to celebrate the island of Capri and its "Dolce Vita" lifestyle. The gin includes the core botanicals as the original bottling -- Arbequina olives from Spain, rosemary from Greece, thyme from Turkey, and Italian sweet basil which are all individually macerated in a barley neutral spirit and distilled. The two additional botanicals added here are Italian bergamot from Calabria and lemons from Capri. Recommended serve is a Gin & Tonic with a lemon twist and sprig of thyme garnish.

The citrus is immediate and palate forward, bringing a lively and fresh lemon essence. The basil peeks through after a minute, and the juniper adds a cooling effect at the tail end. The body is medium soft, with a smooth and jovial entry. We particularly enjoyed the brightness and Mediterranean flavor of the botanicals. This gin is exceptionally mouthwatering and is perfect for summery cocktails.
Finally found this. I’ve been wanting to try it for years. On the nose it’s deep and heavy lemon and lime, fruit and peel, with the characteristic thyme and rosemary, and also sage, grape and juniper. On the palate it’s tart lemon/lime, bitter peel, semi sweet lemon, herbs.
This is the best modern botanical gin i have ever had. The botanicals have been added in the most perfect way possible. I would tread myself to a g&t every saturday after my baf shift. Incredible gin!
