About this bottle

Glencadam has a very long history, dating back to 1825, but single malts have been released under this name only since 2005. This 12 year old whisky was aged originally in bourbon barrels before going further aging in an ex-port pipe for 20 months. As is true with all Glencadam bottlings, it is non-chill-filtered and released at 92 proof.

Alexandersnel 3.0

This one is likely not for me, I'd have the Glenmorangie Quana Rubain over this any day. Yes it has a fruity complex taste, but I believe the alcohol is too dominant in this whisky. Half a bottle later I am more appreciative of it, I guess this one takes time to grow on me.
