This is a rare vintage 1990s bottling of a style of single malt that was first released by Glenfiddich in the 1980s. Though there is no age statement, older malts are used in the blend. It is bottled at 40% ABV.

It’s a weird one for me this, it’s is initially dry to taste - but then a jump to the sweet side with an almost tangy feel. It’s no unpleasant, but just has an feel of formal grandness rather than relaxation - if it’s put in front of me I’d drink it, but wouldn’t choose it
I wish this had an age statement. Does not smell good. Super mild and non distinct. Astringent.
