Gouden Carolus Sherry Oak

04 février 2025 - Nancy Nez chocolaté très étonnant Une jupette dorée claire 1ere bouche suave avec des arômes chocolatés, comme une maturation dans des tonneaux qui auraient servi à transporter du chocolat... Cela donne à ce whisky un goût particulier. Une deuxième bouche alcoolisée vient éteindre le goût étonnant de la première bouche avant de déposer une fune pellicule pimentée sur la langue en troisième bouche Un léger arrière goût industriel / suave sur la langue. Il laisse un dépôt pimenté qui enflamme très légèrement la bouche. Pas désagréable, assez étonnant. Pas de coffre. Un whisky de petit dej.

This young whisky is definitely more approachable than his "Gouden Carolus Single Malt" counterpart. The sherry influence is noticable on the nose and gets carried over into the taste, along with those fruity, oaky and winey notes. The finish is light and short. Overall, a simple yet delicious dram. "Good" : 2.75 stars | Good, just fine.

Delightful dram, smell the sherry nose. First taste of sweet vanilla and grape, with an oak finish.
