The best of both the bourbon and rum worlds intertwined with love into a single barrel. This is an amazing sipper. Tougher to find barrel strength single barrel offerings in the rum world, and this delivers for a very reasonable price.
Just ok if had straight. Very good when mixed with Diet Coke. Tried it in a sampler pack up against a Dominican and Colombian rum and it was my least favorite. Spicy oaky flavor.
store pick single barrel 8 year. generally stick to bourbon and this comes really close. big vanilla flavor. wish i had bought more while the store had it.
High ethanol nose makes for a pleasantly surprising richness in flavor. Especially with no added color or sugar. Impressed. Good rum.

Oaky, boozy, earthy, a hint of molasses, and semi-sweet. A great sipper, pairs well with a nice mild-body cigar.
