Last night before i had Glenmorangie Signet, now the ruler of all whiskies for me, i had a Grant's sherry cask. Not bad actually but yet another dram i wouldn't buy again. Bottled at 40% abv, amontillado sherry color. On the nose: vanilla, sherry, nuts, blackberry marmalade, slight perfumed peat. On the palate: chilli, oak, hay, cereal, sherry and the toasted crest of a vanilla cake. Mostly spicy finish medium long. Actually a good dram, i rate this one 86 over 100, BUT SINCE THIS IS NOT GLENMORANGIE SIGNET, YOU SHOULD PASS ON THIS ONE.

Smells fresh and fruity and a slight hint of smokiness. Hints of vanilla as well. Very light in color considering it was aged for 8 years. Strong punchy taste characteristic of a scotch. Cherry and vanilla hints at first, overall a sweet taste and a fresh after taste surprisingly. Personally i would not buy this bottle again. There's no personality in this whisky there's many like it. Don't get fooled by the age!
Good well-known and popular whiskey. Relatively mild in taste. One of the proven options is "price-quality".
Better than I thought. Smoother than I thought. Deec. Good.
Not a Glen, more sharp but ok for blended
Might be the worst spirit in the world
