Color: Tawny Nose: Orange truffles. Fresh Hay. Slight butter emerging late. Some wine-flavors with water. Mouth: Spice. Slight citrus. Slightly sour. Lingering lemon drop finish. Water opens a little cereal, but H2O is mostly not friendly here. Conclusion: Interesting corn-free, American rye. Forty-percent malted barley. Quite delicious and a worthy sipper!

Peaty barley and VERY young rye notes somehow go ok together. Very earthy, grassy flavors with a strange blend of that peat. Bought at Fells Point Farmers’ market (375 mL for $27)
Well balanced, Smokey with a 60/40 rye/ malted barley blend. Glad I found this in Baltimore.
It’s a great beginner rye, smooth with a nice spice at the end. Sweet for a rye.
Delicious and complex. Sweet, spicy, and refined
Exceeds expectations. Thick, creamy. Peaty.
