Great Northern Rye Whiskey is distilled in Wisconsin and made from a mashbill of locally grown raw rye grain, rye malt, and corn, all sourced within 150 miles of the distillery. It's bottled at 48% ABV after aging in new, charred American oak.

Love it. Smooth, savory rich, and spicy. Has a wet leatheryness to it with just the right amount of sweet. Unique rye - different from what you're used to probably, but in a great way.
Really enjoy the late spice of this rye, which is very different than most commercial ryes. Great neat or in cocktails, this whiskey is a staple in my bar!
Enjoyed this one. Has a nice spice to it but smoothish finish. Added a cube and tasted a bit more vanilla notes and really went down easy.
Nose: leather, leather oil, rye bread, coffee cake Taste: Leather all day, sweet molasses, slight anise and mint Finish: lovely spice
Peppery, rich, sweet, faintly smoky. Not smooth but spiky either. Special both neat and in cocktails.
