Nose: very intense burnt rubber and peat. Light banana. On the palate: confirmed as the only notes, banana, candied fruit. Bitterish and short finish, which disappears completely after a while. All in all very pleasant and drinkable. 3.75 ________________________________________________ Naso gomma bruciata e torba molto intense. Leggera banana. Al palato confermate come uniche note, banana, frutta candita. Finale amarognolo e breve, che scompare del tutto dopo poco. Tutto sommato molto piacevole e beverino. 3,75

Nose. Cereals and dried banana chips, followed by some peat and candied fruits. Palate. A little thin on the palate (this could be amazing at 46%+) but principally vanilla and a little orchard fruit (pear?). Finish. Fairly short (again, this is bottled at a slightly too low ABV) but there’s a touch of smoke, black pepper and butter.
I received this sample as a part of a whiskey advent calendar. Dusty, Smokey nose. The palette isn’t as Smokey. It’s dry and sweet. The finish is a little sweet, moderately long and astringent.

It’s not bad but if you like peat (I am a fan of Islay) then there are inexpensive blends that are lots better.
Strong nose. Peat scent. Complex flavor. Starts sweet with a peaty and smoky finish.
