Hibiki Blossom Harmony features a blend of malt and grain whiskies from Suntory's Yamazaki, Hakushu and Chita distilleries. The whisky is then finished in selected Sakura casks, also known as cherry blossom casks. No body to it, short aftertaste. You feel the alcohol burn. There is strong bourbon-like/ very apparent and strong sweet nose. I don’t see how Suntory can sell this one at ~US$160. NOT WORTH IT. Please skip.
Berries, vanilla, fruity and light, slight ethanol hit from the grain. Nice mouthfeel, pleasant clean aftertaste with a tiny hit of bitterness at the very end. Quite good.
