One of the better medium priced bourbons for general neat pours. Love the sweetness of the bourbon. Smooth on the pallet and the chew and finish is vanilla like.
About this bottle
This small batch bottling is comprised of bourbon whiskey aged seven to nine years distilled in Indiana. The bourbon uses two high-rye mash bills, one using 21% rye and the other using 35% rye. The rye grain itself was sourced from Northern Europe and the corn used was sourced from Ohio and Indiana. The barrels used for aging were new charred oak barrels with char #4 staves and char #2 heads. This bourbon is bottled at 46% ABV.

Was impressed on first tasting and less so on the second. Will need to have a third to break the tie. Had more of an oily feel to it like Breckinridge.
Very smooth. A bit of bite in the middle of ingesting. Caramel notes. A bit of apple. Very good. Nice compliment to the collection. Cousin to EC.
Smells familiar and pleasant. Smooth and sweet, slightly bitter end, which is short. Not too complex. Nothing off putting. 7/21/18
Match 2017 Suburban Bourbon 50 Shades Darker date night. Sweet bourbon with a nice short aftertaste. Buy this one.
It's got the barrel age taste, but because the char on the barrels is #2, you get more grain taste than wood.
