Nutmeg and a sweet wheat and corn hit the nose, with a warming buttery mouth feel of toasted grain and sweet corn with the heavily oaky finish... That has no burn at all for a 117 proof.
I get the Dickel reference from IrishPurge. I get butterscotch on nose, apples and spice on pallette with a long hot finish. Tasty stuff
This was good and different. Very clear green apple notes with cinnamon and allspice. Sipped well for the proof
