A rich, single grain from the Invergordon distillery, independently bottled by That Boutique-y Whisky Company following a generous 42 year-long maturation. Batch 15 is a release of 665 bottles. It has an aromatic birth with notes of mango, papaya, Milk bottle sweeties, chocolate buttons, charred oak. & a hint of Ready Salted crisps; while a rich life adds notes of fried plantain, apple skins, chilli chocolate, old leather & clove stick; that led to a long & warming death with notes of Brandy snaps, desiccated coconut & dark chocolate mousse. Dramfest '18. One of 665 bottles. Rich sherried dram. Slightly unbalanced after the other Boutique-y whiskies we had. The Adelphi version of a similar age is much better. However this is cheaper at $120 USD. 3.5
