I am new to whiskey tasting, but here goes... Nose: Not much, but faint sweetness and some smoke. Not much alcohol. Taste: Sweet, not bourbon sweet, but probably some cask influence. Some smoke and what I guess is peat, I noted a streak of salmiak (sweet and salty liqourice) but not at all heavy. Conclusions: I am new to whiskey and have never really liked smokey spirit. But this was really good, the sweet was familiar having had some experience with bourbon. The smokey notes was really pleasant, something new for me. I think I will try and find some other peated/smoked whiskey now that the door has been opened. I would not mind another sip of this one either.

Nose: Light peaty smoke and hint of sweetness in the glass. When rubbing some between my hands i get a clear scent of sesame seeds. Palate: The pleasant peat smoke is followed by oakiness and a floral sweetness. Finish: Similar to the palate with peat and oak. As a beginner to picking apart whiskys, this blend is a real delight.
Mild peated smell Gentle burned wood with a burn that stay within the mouth, not too much sweetness but very enjoyable
Smoky and overwhelming sweet Very good value for money and somkey starters whisky
Bästa rökiga huswhiskyn. Perfekt att fylla på med efter en Islay single malt.
Has a weird taste, can't quite catch what it is. I do not recommend.
