Jack Daniel's Single Barrel Select

I did a blind jd bonded and a jd sib store pic (Batch).... After a few sips you can tell the difference. Because the bonded is a blend of many barrels, its more evened out, even though it might be a little more sweet and richer w more banana. The sib pick has a little smoke there, a little more dry but in a good way. The banana is there but with a little nuttiness on the back end. I get a little metallic on both noses tonight that transfers over to the sib's taste a bit. The bonded has a bit more oaky cardboard instead...... BUT WAIT.... ...AND IT TURNS OUT I CALLED THE POURS WRONG. I WAS SO SURPRISED I HAD TO GO POUR ANOTHER GLASS OF BONDED TO MAKE SURE I DIDN'T MIX UP THE BLIND. BONDED WINS. SO REVERSE MY NOTES THE BONDED WAS WHAT I THOUGHT WAS THE SIB

Total Score : 3.88 [Eng] [Nose] - Vanila and Chocolate. - Banana flesh scent becomes stronger as time passes after pouring the glass. - Spicy but not the strong alcoholic smell. - First, the maple scent and changes to a rich fruit scent like cherry. [Palete] - Lightly coming in. - Sweet - Soft spicy. - Slight bitterness [Finish] - Slight floral scnet. - Sweet vanila - Soft woody scent and grainy scent that comes back up your nose after going down neck. [Kor] [Nose] - 바닐라와 초코 - 잔에 따른 후 시간이 지날수록 바나나 과육향이 강해짐. - 스파이시하지만 알코올향이 쏘진 않음. - 메이플향에서 나중엔 체리와 같은 농도 진한 과일향으로 넘어감. [Palete] - 가볍게 들어옴 - 달콤함 - 부드러운 스파이시함. - 아주 약간의 쓴맛. [Finish] - 약간의 플로랄 - 달콤한 바닐라향. - 넘긴 후 코를 타고 다시 나오는 부드러운 우디향과 곡물 향기.

Nose: wood, banana, plum, leather Taste: sweet, very sweet like candy also cherry notes on taste. Very impressive finish with more sweetness almsot tastes like cherry cola on finish I flat out love this bottle for $45 you are going to be hard pressed to find a bottle that packs this much flavor. This was my reintroduction into what JD is doing now as i was one who thought it was all old no 7 mixing with coke and ginger ale. Or flat out pounding shots in my younger days just to get hammered lol. This bottle was my gateway bottle into other things JD is doing now and if you havent noticed its pretty dang good stuff.

Mısır, muz (vanilya), baharat, karamel kokuları. Damak: Oldukça yoğun. Baharat, vanilya ve bal notaları. Damağı sıvayan yoğun ve kompleks bir gövde, hafif yanık. Bitiş: Uzun ve tatlı bir bitiş, vanilya, meşe ve is hissediliyor. Genel Yorum: Jack Daniel’s Single Barrel select havalandırılınca yumuşak içimli ve dengeli bir Tennessee viskisi oluyor. Yüksek alkolde havalandırma ve sulandırmanın daha iyi bşr tad için önemini gösteriyor. 85/100

85 N: sud, med, vanilka, hezky jemné, ale přitom výrazné 22 T: trochu drsnější, lehce i alkohol, ta kukuřice tam je celkem výrazná, pak se ukáže takový hodně vypálený sud, lehce vanilka, tóny dřeva 21 F: hřejivý, trochu alkoholový, sud, jemný dozvuk vanilky a vypáleného sudu se drží v puse celkem dlouho 21 B: Fajn, ale ten alkohol je trochu drsnější a celkově to má takový drsný feeling, fajn hodně vypálený sud a lehká vanilka. Po chvíli pití mě to pomalu baví víc, ale pořád platí vše výše 21

PREPARED -Neat SMELL -right away, sweet. -chocolate covered raspberries? -rootbeer TASTE -a little hot -creamy. Like a root beer float. -about thirty seconds after, butterscotch or caramel. Very interesting. THOUGHTS Overall Im not crazy in love with it, but its different than some other whiskeys I've had. The creamy mouthfeel was fun and added that new characteristic. It reminded me a lot of a barqs rootbeer float! I would love to compare this against regular JD. Might do that next time.
