Jacob's Pardon Recipe 2 Small Batch

Tried neat. On the nares I get liquid milk chocolate, coffee, figs, caramel, brown sugar. On the palate it’s hot initially and I don’t get much unfortunately. It’s somewhat yeasty and wheaty, strong ETOH flavor. I’m really bummed about this as I read how delicious this was before I bought it and I was reading batch/recipe 1. This batch 2 mehhhh. I’ll have to come back to it. I really hope I’m having an off night

Strong rich, full bodied, high sweet, rich and vanilla, bit of spice 109.8 proof, first sip hot, second right on point

Very good. Strong smell of ethanol upon first opening but after letting it breathe, one of the best pours I’ve had.

I added a little water. Tasting caramel. Some oak, sweet, cinnamon, brown sugar

Raisin, sweet finish, easy drinker

Not much burn for the high proof.
