2.16.22 Served: Neat, Flute Bottle Open: Same day Aroma: Caramel and roasted corn floral sweetness. Some spicy jalapeño notes on the second pass. Nasal fatigue brings out more earthy tones. Flavor: Sweet yet spicy, with a medium body. Tastes relatively young. Sweetness persists into the second and third sip. Savory notes continue to emerge throughout drinking. I imagine this is what a jalapeño cornmeal cupcake would taste like. Will be very interesting to mix with. Unorthodox and unrefined but not unpleasant on its own.

Wasnt sure what to expect as it was a gift and a distillery i had not heard of. I was pleasantly surprised and pleased. A nice mix of sweet and spicy with some carmel and fruity notes followed by the heat of the cask strength. Cant wait to try it another night and see if i like it as much.
It has a clear, copper appearance. The aroma is of strong grain alcohol. The flavor is similar, and vanilla, corn, and minty rye spice are notice, once one gets past the heat. Jeppson's has a high-medium body, and a bit of a sweet, long finish. RJT
Apparently blended using whiskey sourced from MGP and OZ Tyler. A lot may be scared because of it’s cousin the wonderful (to me!) Malort, but this is a really tasty bourbon especially at the price point. Nice subtle spiciness
Nose: honey, vanilla, almond, sweet Taste: sweet, vanilla, slight fusel, slight heat
