Too sweet on its own, but mixed with a homemade egg nog and it starts to enter the guilty pleasure arena. Too bad I experimented with this after Beam pulled the plug in favor of Peach or Apple. I just don't let it be seen with my "real" bourbons.

First off, I love maple. Anything maple I am down to pound. However, this whiskey is just so sweet. It's drinkable but too sweet; much better for shots and mixing than straight. Going to try a shot of this with some apple cider.
Unlike the crown royal maple finished whiskey this one loses its maple flavour after about 6 months of being open. Makes interesting cocktails if your gonna use it all quickly
Syrup sweet, not as cloying as the vanilla or apple. My guilty pleasure flavored whiskey when fishing. Straight out of the mini bar. Doesn't really deserve a glass.
Maple is up front, but way too sweet, tasty, but that maple is followed by jim beam below average bourbon finish.. fairly smooth overall but cheap tasting
Not really my cup of tea, but this just tastes like a regular bourbon with a heavy maple flavour to it - maple flavour is not as artificial as I expected
