Part of a sample Jim Beam 12 Days of Christmas pack sampler. Sixth of the 12. Quick hit review. Sample five was a repeat of Jim Beam straight. Light and fruity ripened peach with a splash of Sunny D. Surprisingly fruity, with vibrancy. Unfortunately no other aromas are discernible. Not sure if that is good or bad. The peach flavor carries through onto the palate, but lighter than on the nose. Again the Sunny D flavors are present. A hint of white pepper spice keeps the overt sweetness somewhat in check. Finishes with (take a guess) peach with a touch of drying tannins. This was not all that terrible for a flavored “whiskey”. However, I would regard this more of a liqueur than a flavored whiskey. Again, this is well suited for a summer mixer, say in an iced-tea. Simple fun. Simple pleasure. [Tasted: 12/12/20]

I like this drink. I first had this as a free sample and finally broke down and bought my own bottle. While I think this is a little too sweet neat if you put a little ice in it the sweetness mellows and it is a dessert in a glass. Also, if this is put on vanilla ice cream it is amazing. As a drinker, it really is nice once it is mellow out. I like it in the evening but it is not an everyday drinker. As soon as you open the bottle you can smell the peach and it does mix so well with the Jim Beam bourbon and other than William Wolf Pecan Bourbon this is a best-flavored bourbon on the market. I can see this bourbon being a great mixer and after dinner drink. This product is not as good other peach bourbons on the market today.

I've tasted the Jack Daniels and Crown Royal flavored liqueurs, so I thought it proper to also try Jim Beam's version. Heavy peach aromas on the nose, accompanied by some raisins and vanilla. The peach flavor on the palate is very strong, but there is a little more whiskey flavor here compared to the others. This taste more like what I'd expect a liqueur mixed with a bourbon would taste like. This is obviously made for mixing, I wouldn't recommend drinking this neat, but I do appreciate that they left some impression of their whiskey in the drink.

For what it is, it’s very good. It’s a summer night drink to be mixed with iced tea and lemonade. Very refreshing. It’s not sipping whiskey. However, it’s more whiskey-ish than many of the other flavored whiskies, meaning it isn’t so sweet. The ones like Bird Dog and Old Smokey are too sweet and overwhelm the cocktail. This has just the right amount of sweetness to be a complement.

Strong sweet peach on the nose with very subtle rubbing alcohol smell. Sweet easy drinking with minimal alcohol burn on finish. Floral and very peach forward with classic Jim beam vanilla and oak undertones.

Strong peach on the nose. It's sweet, but not overpoweringly so. This is a great summer mixed drink addition! Add ginger beer, lime, peach bitters and garnish with mint! (On the rocks) booyah
