Highly enjoyable. For an 11 year old it really isnt a oak pronounced pour. Very soft on the nose and taste … bit fruity and definitely not spicy. Very faint Beam profile … not proofy but definitely drinks a little heavier than the 90 proof. Bit of light cherry on the aftertaste but not in a medicinal way that some higher proof products can gove off. Good luck finding it these days. Disappointing it was discontinued as i would definitely biy again.

Drammers club pour. Least favorite among this, the brown rice, and tritcale experiments. Nose: Vanilla, Flowers, Cotton Candy, Oranges, Cherries, Caramel, Grass, Anise, Canteloupes, Melon, Citrus, Cookie Dough Palate: Vanilla, Caramel, Banana, Cotton Candy, Lemon, Butter Frosting, Pepper, Peanuts Finish: Caramel, Citrus, Vanilla, Oranges, Apricots, Cherries, Peanuts, Cotton Candy, Cloves, Cinnamon
Great nose, a little lighter than standard Beam with more orchard fruit. Intense caramel is still there. On the palate, very woodsy, the oak is prominent, almost like sandalwood, but not unpleasant. Sweet, smooth, with vanilla, minty notes, slight bitterness at the end to balance. Very drinkable. 3/24/18
Don’t let the “expert” fool you into thinking this is a bland bourbon. While it is a little more mild than recent bourbons in punch, it is just as good as the 12 year Dewar’s my wife and I just tasted with it. Great for sipping neat. A good contrast to the Jim Beam Black label.
Nose: cotton candy, vanilla, sawdust Palate: brown sugar, citrus falling to oak Finish: dry and bland Was hoping for so much more, but, its a fine dram overall
Really smooth and excellent. Best drink chilled.
