$35 for 375ml - Michigan. Nose (Neat): Medium alcohol, cabernet, light manderin orange and corn. Palate (Neat): Medium burn going down. Plum, light orange, touch of sugar and light spice. Ends fairly dry. I prefer to have this one on ice to soften the burn.
Journeyman Distillery Kissing Cousins Organic Whiskey
About this bottle
Kissing Cousins is Journeyman’s Featherbone Bourbon finished in a Wyncroft Winery 1996 Cabernet Sauvignon barrel. The name is a nod to the bourbon kissing the winery’s (which is nearby the distillery) barrel. The mash bill is predominantly corn, but also includes Michigan wheat, rye, and barley malt. The base bourbon is aged for 15 months in new white oak.

Much like kissing cousins, I try to avoid this whisky when possible. Wood and nutty initial flavors, followed by a hint of caramel, and almost painfully dry on the finish. Again, much like... nevermind.
Nose: Carmel notes and subtle spice Top: Smooth and subtly sweet Back: oaky, Spice, warm
Sweet. Dessert-like bourbon. Honey, caramel, butterscotch.
