Oh wow the smell for this is overwhelming sweetness with citrus note, orange mandarin, apricot, honey 3.5 Mild slightly bland - but a pleasant hint of sweetness, lightness, light oak, vanilla, cream, a pleasant drink 2.5 No sustain, no peat, woody aftertaste bitter 0 2 if it is cheap. Why not? And a good balance mix
About this bottle
The waters surrounding the Isle of Jura are legendary among Diuriachs for its mystical, youth restoring properties. Age-defying spirit likely doesn't run through the stills of Jura Distillery, but this expression could still be an Elixir of life. Matured in both American white oak and sherry casks, this single malt Scotch whisky has been bottled at 40% abv.

Notes of vanilla, honey, caramel, and dessert wine on the nose, with a hint of smoke and sea hiding at the end. The flavor is heavy on the sweet notes up front (caramel and toffee), with lingering vanilla at the end.
Better nose than palate. Almond, vanilla and banana on the nose. There's wood on the palate with a touch of spice. Finish is weak and short.
Drinks by the dram. It is good. Kinda sweet, not too spicy. Nose like highland park 12, but not as refined a taste.
Lovely deep plum, with wood & as a hint of spice. The finish is sweet & rather quick, but a very tasty dram.
