Oak nose, with some sweetness Palette - can’t really compare to other bourbons I’ve had to date… there’s a medicinal (maybe cherry taste) that reminds me of four roses. Then a creamy flavor, reminds me of chocolate, and cornbread, and a bit of gummy bear. Finish is long (at least in throat) , reminds me of sugary dough A warm dough, And the smell of Mexican ice cream cones.

Smells of caramel. Tastes of caramel and some spice (nutmeg & clove). With ice, spice fades, but caramel stays strong. Smoother than should be for abv. Won't rate a 5 as heat was slightly high at start. Amazing bourbon. Best I've had to date. Worth price? I think so.
Could easily be the best I’ve had. Rich, oily, spicy, vanilla carmel. The flavor coats the tongue and lingers just long enough to beg for another sip. I was very impressed with this glass. 40$ a glass in Waco Tx
Beauty in a glass. This was my first Kentucky Owl. The nose was spectacular. Creme brûlée and chocolate mixed together with intermingled spices and corn. The finish lasted for days as well. Super nice dram. 95/100
The best “high rye” bourbon I have ever had. Outstanding mouth feel, well rounded, wood, sweet, fruits, Carmel, vanilla and some spice at mid pallet and end. By far the smoothest high rye mash bill I have add.
Re-rating 3+ years after first had. Would rate at 4.4. Soild as hell, just have had some better bourbons since originally had and needed to correct my score.
