Kentucky Owl Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey Batch #3 is a sourced whiskey from an undisclosed distillery. After 2 years aging in new, charred American oak barrels, the whiskey is transferred into a new, char 4 American white oak barrel where it is ages further. This is a single barrel release (from barrel #16 in blue ink) of only 206 bottles.

Better every time. Heavy on the heat with oak, earth, leather, moss, and vanilla. A goddamn steal. Toss in an ice chip and you get more tobacco and leather along with cinnamon and red wine. Long finish that ends dry. In a good way. Like sunshine after a flood.
Really good, spicy but not overwhelming. Longest finish I've tasted as of 4/17/17. Very complex Capital cellars $170
