Nose - different, oily, medicinal. Really opened up with 4 drops of water. Its sweet, vanillaish, still perfumy, mango. Taste - after 4 drops of water it really opened up. Has a port Charlotte style Sweetness. Mature for only a 7 year old whisky. Long finish. Very oily, cherry flavors. Love it.
A strange nose, drasticly different than the palate. Extremely sweet, Nail polish esk. Yet the palate is fantastic, spicy, lovely, darker fruit, and beautiful smoke. Suprislying smooth for a cask strength. Very enjoyable
Massive and complex; tons of smoke and peat, but also has a balanced caramel sweetness, umami, charred wood, and an interesting a vegetal note
Prefer the Sanaig. Though maybe this is an easier drink, less interesting.
