About this bottle
In September and October of 2016, brothers James and Peter Wills, sons of Kilchoman's original founder, toured the East Coast of the US, making stops in Boston, New York City, Rhode Island, New Jersey, Delaware, Pennsylvania, Maryland, and Washington DC. This special edition bottling of Kilchoman Machir Bay is to commemorate that tour, done following the success of their European tour in 2014 and 2015. It's still aged in ex-bourbon barrels and Oloroso sherry butts, but for this release, the flagship is bottled at 58.9% ABV cask strength. Only 840 bottles were made available exclusively on the tour.
