Nose: deep malt notes, brown sugar, dense dried fruits of holiday fruitcake, ripe orchard fruits, orange zest, baking spices, sherry, oak. Palate: dark fruits, sherry, orange zest, malty breadiness, all with peppery spices, baking spices, and a smoky tobacco touch on the finish. Although slightly hotter for an 18yr scotch, it drinks very well for the price.

A bit hot at 92 proof with prominent oak & sherry notes. A bit of dried fruit and smooth finish. Amazingly good value!

A lot of great flavor. But for 18 yeaes old i had expected it to be more mellow. Hot hot hot.

I would have liked something more mellow, but it is a very solid bottle for its low price.
