Knight Gabriello Limoncello

Rating: 13/23 I haven't tried a limoncello before, but this is interestingly more opaque than I'd expected, kind of like lemon curd. N: It smells just like a lemon head. There's a sharp lemon smell mixed with plenty of sugar and some sort of mineral. P: This is a lot like a lemon head as well. I get that sourness mixed with a big dose of sweetness that carries a bit of minerality like compressed sugar with it. F: Sweetness with the lemon lingering but moving in a more bitter direction. - Conclusion - This has a pretty nice flavor. There's enough character to it to stand up in a cocktail, but not enough complexity to make it a sipper. I think I'm looking at at least a 12 here, but probably nothing as high as a 16. I've landed on a 13. It's solid, but it just tastes too much like lemon heads.
