Nose of rye, duh, something I can only describe as freshly laundered sheets drying in the sun, apple, vanilla, caramel, powdered sugar, plum. Tastes of sweet powdered sugar, vanilla, black cherry, rye, and a bit of oak. It starts off relatively smooth for the strength, but finishes hotter. Water opens it up to cinnamon and more oak. Very well done.

Tried neat thanks to a lil taster from @Looneyhead On the nose it’s fruit forward with notes of dark maraschino cherries, plum, sherry, vanilla, mint, & rye. On the palate it’s initially spicy but then becomes smooth and delicious with notes of brown sugar, vanilla, mint, cinnamon. Nice legs on the glass
Blend of 95% MGP rye aged at least 4 years and 51% rye from Tennessee aged at least six years bottled at barrel proof. Caramel, fruit cake, vanilla, oak, cherry, rye bread, apple. Finish lingers.
Cotton candy nose. Fragrant currant amooth entry and bouquet flowery finish.
Very nice and tasty! Even better than the straight rye
