La Marielita Rum Aged 18 Years

Ron extremadamente fino, bien curado, elegante, con reminiscencias de brandy en el bouquet, como suele acaecer con los buenos rones de largo añejamiento. Cuerpo denso en copa; nariz de intensidad media y armoniosa, con frutas, madera molida, flores, hierbas, vainilla y especies dulces. Inicio fuerte y cálido en boca, textura ligera y algo oleosa. Notas de apricot, frutas, nueces, pimienta blanca y pino.

I have been purchasing Marielita for a little under 2 years. It is my go to Rum for straight drinking and gifting to family and friends. Flavorful, sweet, deep and the very little burn on the finish. My Boss has been a rum drinker for years(Pilars, Dos Maduros, El Presidente) and even he fell for this one so much I buy it for him on his birthday. Money we'll spent.

An indulgent rum, rich, sweet and smooth, perhaps a little too much but, with “no additives or artificial flavorings”, it is dangerously pleasant.
