La Venenosa Raicilla Tabernas (White Label)

The nose has charred pineapple and shishito peppers, wet stone, and something that reminds me of a musty library. The mouthfeel is soft and velvety. The palate has an initial sweet note, like creme brulee, that quickly moves on to vegetal agave sweetness, roasted nopales, ground cinnamon and cloves, black pepper and a hint of potting soil. The finish is long and peppery, led by the vegetal sweetness and faint smoke.
