Glass: Glencairn, rested 15 minutes. Color: Light amber. Nose: Smoke and salt, like a campfire on a beach. Palate: Starts off with a sweet note, then smoke, then salt. Finish: Medium heat but long length. Splash: An oaky tannin note appears. Overall: 9.5/10 - This transported me to a warm evening on a beach with a small fire going. I can practically hear the waves crashing into the shore. The finish is surprisingly long for 96 proof. Well done!
