An elegant, Pure Malt Whisky by Brewery Bières de Rè in Rè Island, France made with 100% malted barley, though it might be distilled in more than one location; before being aged for 5 years in new oak barrels: Bourbon, Cognac & finished in Pineau des Charentes barrels. It has a fruity birth with notes of tangy grapefruit, baked apples & cocoa; while a complex life adds notes of fruitcake, figs, cinnamon, chocolate & dried apricot; that leads to a balanced death of medium length with notes of sea-salt toffee.
