Didn’t realize it until looking at the label (Which features a United States Marine, M1 Garand Rifle at the ready somewhere in the Pacific during WWII) but it’s made in Oklahoma, and I’m a Proud Okie. They Hit a Home-run with this one. It didn’t just clear the fence, but speaking of Okies, this bottle is a Mickey Mantle sending one clear out of Yankee Stadium Home-Run. Especially considering the pricing ($38.00). Actually, had my longtime Friend who’s Irish and a very experienced Whiskey drinker. We had him and his spouse over for an evening and had him try it and he literally finished half of the bottle. The taste is excellent with no harsh palate, smooth, some sweet notes with lots of character you get from a real good Rye. It is an outstanding bottle and really can compare and best, some of the finest and much, much more expensive Whiskey’s I have. Not just limited to Ryes. Bottom line; I keep an open bottle and an unopened one on hand at all times. This is a permanent staple in my Collection.

Nose: Big Red chewing gum. I swear I couldn’t tell the difference. Palate: Extremely smooth and sweet for a rye. Cinnamon and black tea are the dominate notes to me. Finish: Once again, smooth. Cinnamon and brown sugar (maybe?). No big “KY Hug”. Fine whisky. Would never have thought it was a rye in a blind test. Smooth and sweet. More of an after dinner drink to me. Probably not a daily drinker, but it has a place on any bar.

The nose has a melon, bazooka bubblegum like quality to it. The sip is buttered popcorn, tart candies, a tinge of ethanol that turns back to a slightly tart finish. That finish lingers a bit with tart cherry and a metallic quality. It is turning to sliced red delicious apples now I’m really liking it

Nose is very dill like with some sweetness. Palate is rich with dill, anise or black liquorice, and green grass. Finish is quick bit still pretty much dill. A good rye but a little young tasting overall. Local made in Moore. A bit of water makes it sweeter but it's still pretty dill forward.

Sweeter than expected. Quite spicy with cinnamon and a hint of molasses. Smooth and overall pleasant, minimal burn when neat. Almost silky smooth on ice. This was a good, solid random pick purely based on name, happy with it.

Rye, some sweetness at first, peppery on the finish.
