Nose: first notes are of a loaf of wheat bread, with some cereal grains, just a hint of honey, and some floral notes lingering under the surface. Palate: more grainy on the palate, with some spice on the back end. Not much complexity other than that. Finish: the finish is mostly pleasurable with the spice lingering for a medium to long amount of time. Overall: obviously a younger whiskey with lots of grain notes and minimal complexity. It does have a surprising amount of spice. I was worried that the honey barrel finish would make this overly sweet, but you detect al.ost zero influence from the honey.

Lots of warm vanilla and cinnamon notes. Really opened up after sitting and initially being a tad hot. I thought it was exceptional for a finished whiskey.
