Tasted the 2022. Not for the beginning scotch drinker. This is a very complex expression. At 52.5% abv there is some sharpnes. Tried both neat and with a bit of water. Once you get past the alcohol burn neat is the best way to drink this. Light brownish/golden coloring. Sherry, chocolate, vanilla, candied nuts, ruby red grapefruit, and light spice on the nose. Caramel or creme brulle, nuts, sponge cake, and pepper come through on the taste. Sweet and creamy with some spice. Glad to buy it but prefer both 12’s and 15.

I had the 2022 version, not sure how different it is, but its tasty! Weak nose, nice palate, gentle finish - long aftertaste, pretty good. Fruity / fresh / sharp
