Macduff 2003 14 Year (Alexander Murray & Co.)

Nose - strong pine and juniper berry right up front, some light citrus but it’s hard to get past the evergreen notes Palette - medium body, light and sweet no evergreen at all, citrus zest and more acidic cranberry, some mild vanilla and grains Finish - sweet and short, tiny bit of spice at the end, medium burn but low for such a high proof whisky

Tart and woody, slightly sweet and nutty. Not very distinctive. Not my favorite.

Slightly sweet. Smells funky in a good way. Subtle apricot
