Maker's Mark Private Select Rob Samuels 2020

Tasting neat in a Glencairn: Nose is hot with menthol, but caramel, vanilla, dry oak and citrus zest are also present. Palate offers cherry, leather, charred wood and slight honey. Finish is short yet bold, with delicious dark fruit and more leather.

Strong initial burn then a caramel and vanilla finish. Overall very smooth

Molasses and sweet nuts on the palate. Burn at the end

Tannic oak, toasted pecans, mollasis

Chocolate covered raisins
