Marksman Kentucky Straight Bourbon

Nose: dickle like charcoal. Corn, orange, caramel, toffee, vanilla, gala apples. Banana Taste: strong oak throughout. Cherry, heavy corn. Creamy banana. Dense apple. Very surprised by this. Very reminiscent of Evan Williams or Dickel. The question is why does this exist other than to capitalize on craft distilleries? There’s a lot in the price range and even cheaper that’s also good like Evan Williams bonded or Jim beam bonded.

On the initial taste it was a very nice sweet bourbon but that quickly turned into a weird, bitter, and harsh flavor ive never had up to that point or since. The bottle is only fit for your worst enemy or the best of drains.

Smoother than I anticipated. No over powering notes come through for me. A touch bitter for my taste but certainly sippable.

Smooth and easy to drink. A little watered down, but still nice.

Bogged standard basic bourbon, no notes.
