Nose: Light with a little honey, reminds me of the Ancnoc 12. Soft fresh fruit with some floral notes and a slightly savory/smoked edge. Palate: very round, agree with the green apple and grape notes I’ve seen. Tiniest bit of honey and a bit of pepper as it opens. Rice grain note as time goes on, more of the heavier honey on the back of the palate too. Let it sit for a while and revisited it - far more flavour, more of the almost stewed apple and pear and slightly savoury malt. Bit butterscotchy. Finish: Lightly malty, vanilla. Becomes thicker and darker kind of sweetness. Overall: nice enough, but might be a bit too light for me. Would be nice to taste it at a higher ABV to see if the honey and savory notes come through more. After letting it open, bumped from 2.75 to 3. Nice one to have for daily use.

My nose is confused when it enters the opening of my glass. This whiskey is practically scentless. A far away hint of ripe yellow fruites. Vanilla and a whiff of kale. I do not expect to find much taste at this point. The taste suprises me fully. Very light and quite vibrant. Loads of fruit, raisins, dates, MonChou cream cheese. Theres a bit of acidity in there, like a unripe raspberry. Very smooth. Oak. Nice dryness. Aftertaste gas loads of wood, some tannins and liquorice. Quite strong but the burn is friendly. I mean, this bottle is nothing special at all but it's quite uncommon because of the lack of nose and the acidity in the taste. 3.5 start, with the last .5 being there because of the surprise :-)

A bottle opened at PinTa, Pula. Thanks, little Dina. Pale brownish golden. Aroma is soft vanilla, fruity, a touch of orange, caramel, hint of smoke, rum-like. A bit rough on the tongue, some oak at first, smoke, sweet vanilla and dried fruit. A sourish raisin, green apple and ripe apple touch in the back. Oak in the finish. Slick texture, medium moutfeel, quite rich, sweet-sour finish.

Nose has vanilla and oak. Palette is nicely balanced flavors of vanilla, a little bit of fruit and oak that turn into a nice warm burn. This was a nice entrance into Japanese whisky and I will likely be trying some others soon!

Super smooth. Really light with notes of honey and grape coming through. A lovely little sipper with no burn at all. Sweetness increases after a while, very enjoyable. Whisky me pouch

Pears, grass, fresh ocean breeze. Sweet and salty mix on the palate. Finish is a bit acidic.
