McFarlane's Reserve 13

A rich, Cask Strength Kentucky Straight Bourbon made by adding wheat to the traditional mash bill of corn & barley; along with Kentucky limestone filtered water & aged for a minimum of 13 years and then finished in cabernet sauvignon casks. It has an aromatic birth with notes of grains, dried dark fruits, wood & spices; while a fruity life adds notes of cherry & blackberry; that leads to a rich death of medium length with notes of vanilla, chocolate & oak. Tasting at Total Wine. Nose of cabernet barrel, berries, grape, caramel, vanilla, oak, and char. Oak, cabernet barrel, pepper, vanilla, and grape on the palate. Sweet finish.
