Millstone 4 Year Old (That Boutique-y Whisky Company)

Nose: Fruit cake, brown sugar, hints of chocolate. Wood oil. Palate: Soft body. Malty, dried orange peels, heavy nutmeg spice. Finish: Hot finish. Lingering flavours of candied orange and some chocolate. Once the heat subsides it's actually a nice fruit-forward whiskey. A couple of drops of water remove all the heat and brings forward the chocolate and malt flavours.

Nose: Dried fruit, furniture polish Palate: Orange peel, baking spices, dried fruits Finish: Quite short and hot Tastes young. Could do with a couple more years in the barrel 5.5/10
