This expression is composed of sourced single malts all hailing from the Scottish islands. These were matured in traditional casks before a secondary maturation in Mossburn Cask Bill #1, first fill ex-bourbon barrels with toasted European oak heads. It is bottled at 46% ABV.

Not a peaty Scotch, but great flavor nonetheless. If you like Scotch that isn't peaty you'd absolutely love Mossburn- others will still appreciate it for (despite the lack of peat) it's cask tasteful palate finished with a sea salty, minuscule burn, but an overall smooth, delicious experience.

Light on the nose, peaty, somewhat saline island blend. Palate: citrus, peat, apricot, white raisin, tea. Short nutty aftertaste. Not bad.
Nose is sweet with peat and citrus flowers. Taste is salty sweet and bright. Quick finish
