Murray Hill Club Special Release Batch #3 (Malt & Cider Cask Finish)

I feel like my mouth just got hit by a truck. Powerful spice and vanilla, the cider cask adds brightness. Bright and sparkling, super unique. Medium body, and a little one dimensional with the light cider flavor, but that dimension isn't one you see often. Super high proof, might need water.

Must, cardboard, a hint of flowers, and strong cider on the nose. No sting. The nose just works. On the palate, bitter chocolatey malt, cinnamon, cacao nibs. There's a bit of sweetness, with some cough syrup at the end, but the bitter note dominates. Long, warm finish. 6/4/2020
