New Amsterdam Pink Whitney

I really wanted to like this drink but unfortunately I found it has a few major problems. You can't drink it straight, it's far too sweet for that and cloys easily. Chilling it does little to make it easy to sip. Only by drowning your glass with ice does this approach a good level of sweetness but it's so much ice required to make this mix work. Even then you're left with two problems. The first is that New Amsterdam vodka has a peculiar bitter after taste that just melds together with the bitterness of the pink lemonade making it a weirdly bitter affair despite the persistent sweetness. The second is that both ingredients, the vodka and pink lemonade taste cheap. It doesn't taste too artificial and I can see the appeal but it just wasn't the refreshing drink I was hoping for. Shame.

I really like this one, it really is like a spiked pink lemonade. Its a little sweet and bitter at the same time but goes down really smooth. Its enjoyable and definitely sneaks up on you so like always and with love, drink responsibly. Side note: In my personal opinion, this would be a great and cute drink to serve at a girls’ night, girls’ party, or meeting with your bff for a good catch up time, especially if they’re not big drinkers and dont want something like a beer or something too sweet and/or too fruity, but would like to to engage, this is a good choice.

Ok so I’m a whiskey drinker who likes his dram neat. This however is quite delightful over ice. Covid has made most bourbons and scotch taste and smell horrible. I have since switched to vodka and tried this over ice and it was better than expected. If you are used to drinking any spirits neat this will not be hot at all. My wife tried it and complained it was too sweet but I think my taste is still muted. Anyway for ten bucks it tastes great. Cheers!

The vodka comes through more than you'd expect from the color and marketing but the tart lemonade flavor is still there its just more of an equal if not background flavor compared to the vodkas natural taste. This is still a really nice drink but not one I would recommend for someone that isn't a fan straight vodka. (Great for mixing)

A flavored Vodka from California that is distilled 5x's & filtered 3x's. It has an aromatic birth with notes of pink lemonade; while an elegant & pulpy life led to a death of medium length filled with pink lemonade. October 2019

This is a must get for me when going to a hockey game, had some of this during the Winter Classic outdoor game where it was -8F. I’m not much of a flavored vodka fan, but this hits the spot mixed with 7up.
